Tommy here, just wanted to say i had the honor to meet Shorty the other day, he was in southern Md helping some guy’s do a job on the base where i work as a fireman. He stopped by to get some water for the work they were doing and i just happen to be the one to answer the door the second time around, and he said nothing about his band or his music. It was a few day’s later that he returned to the firehouse again and he ran into my friend Billy again and spoke for a few while his water tanks filled with water and thats when he asked if we liked music and of course we said yes we are firemen and we have some free time to kill when not on any calls so we do alot of listening to music. After a brief few moments of speaking to Shorty he was off to work out in the snow and cold to help his friends and we got on the computer and looked him up….Wow this is really cool, Shorty can play a mean gitar, and has some very good music, i must say this is what the down home humble America man is all about and i am very pleased to have had the chance of meeting this friendly man and will welcome him to my firehouse anytime anyday… I hope to get to take my little boy’s to se him and the band play some day for they love music especially the Gitar. I would like to compare what i have herd him play to BB king and just as taleted as Stevie Ray Vaughan… Yours friend Fireman Tommy Huckabuck Hedrick….

The accomidations were excellent and we also had a great time. We appreciate the treatment that we and our families recieved. Photos of the show will be posted as soon as possible.
